TheresaTheresa Clowes , visual artist, teaches for CDP's Dancing Art Workshops.  Theresa believes that being an artist does not stray far from being a teacher;  they both come from the heart and soul.  Her artwork incorporates juxtapositions:  textiles and architecture, ephemeral fabric and discarded objects, translucency and opaqueness.  For a moment, she enables viewers to slow down, observe, and contemplate the calming rhythms and repeated patterns found in nature.  Her work has been exhibited locally at Vertigo Art Space and Edge Gallery and nationally in Kansas City, Detroit, Houston, Aspen, and Portland, Oregon.  She received her B.F.A. from Kansas City Art Institute and an M.F.A. from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
TiffanyTiffany Forester At age 7, Tiffany began her dance training at En Avant Dance Studio, based out of the capital city of Cheyenne, Wyoming.  She furthered her training and performance experience with Canyon Concert Ballet and Colorado State University, in Fort Collins, Colorado.  She has also trained with the Colorado Ballet, Cleo Parker Robinson, Peter Pucci, Alonzo King and David Dorfman.  In 2008, Tiffany graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.A. in Dance and a B.A in Psychology.  She currently performs with Hannah Kahn Dance Company and Ballet Ariel, in addition to her Personal Training.  Tiffany has taught dance for over 9 years and finds great fulfillment in passing on her passion for movement.
ShiraShira Salzberg received her BA from Barnard College (Columbia University) in New York City, with a major in French and a secondary concentration in modern dance and choreography.  After college, Shira traveled to Paris where she taught Hebrew and Israeli folk dance.  On to Israel, Shira studied modern dance at the Rubin Academy in Jerusalem.  In Denver since 1981, Shira danced with Deborah Reshotko, performing as a community dancer with Deborah's group, "Speaking of Dance."  Shira began teaching children's dance classes in 1997.  Before coming to CDP, she taught at Between the Bones, Music Together and Family Star Montessori.  Shira draws her inspiration from the work of Anne Green Gilbert, with whom she has taken summer workshops in Brain Compatible Dance Education in Seattle.  Shira recently completed a four year training program to become certified as a Feldenkrais practitioner.

ChristyChristy Cutler is one of the founders of Children's Dance Place, which began in 1986.  Her movement background is in modern dance, yoga, folk dance and ethnic dance.  In middle school she took her first modern dance class, and continued dancing through college at University of Colorado, where she took her first Creative Movement course, "Teaching Creative Movement to Children."  After graduation, Christy worked at the Kempe National Center in Denver, completed an M.A. in Parent/Infant Psychology, and continued to study dance at Munt-Brooks Studio and Cleo Parker Robinson School of Dance.  Christy's 20 plus years at CDP yielded the development of unique Parent/Child classes, the establishment of a Creative Dance program at Denver's Family Star Montessori schools, and the teaching of Creative Dance to hundreds of children.  Christy now serves CDP in the role of mentor and substitute teacher.  She is also in the second year of training as a Feldenkrais practitioner.
