Biography

Barbara Deardorff settled in Colorado in 1980 after living in many locations in the United States, as well as Sao Paulo, Brazil.

She has been drawing and creating since childhood, and painting full time since 1990.  Taking inspiration from the mountains, foothills and gardens of Colorado and the West, her landscapes are painted on site in a style that is truthful, yet expressive.

In the studio she concentrates on floral still life, in oil or water color, in the same representational style, combining elements of design and color to create exciting images.
