The expressive
possibilities that horizontal geometry brings to my painting in the
way of overlaps, multiplicities, juxtapositions, fractures, off-sets,
repetitions, integrations, transitions, energy, movement,
transparency, simplicity, complexity, etc., etc., are what I continue
to study… with pleasure and delight. The horizontal is a fundamental
element of geometry. It separates what’s below from what’s above,
the meeting place of profound forces, an interface between extremes,
the basic aspect of earthly movement.
