Last year I picked up a job doing some consulting work to secure a life style that I enjoy. I do like to travel so I am working now to pay for some future travel. I have some inventory, so, my painting has slowed down to being able to paint on the weekends and now that we have longer days I can paint after work. I am currently living in Redondo Beach California about 100 steps from the pier. There is so much information, so many photographs, so many paintings and there in lies the challenge and the good fortune. The challenge is to synthesize the essence of what the experience is that you, the artist, is working to express. Ask yourself, what is the one message that this painting experience is going to say? Then design the other notes or elements to support this message.
